Inspiration Helps...

Inspired by THIS food blog, I decided to create my own dish again after a long time.

Dried Shredded Scallops with Chicken & Mushrooms

Hubby and I enjoyed this dish very much, try this if you would like.

What you need:

12pcs chinese preserved mushrooms (keep the mushroom water)
1/2 can button mushrooms,
50gm shredded dried scallops
300gm chicken parts
2pcs dried cuttlefish
3pcs shallots

4pcs ginger slices

Gravy:
2tbsp dark soy sauce
1tbsp light soy sauce
1tbsp oyster sauce
a pinch of sugar and 1tsp pepper
1tbsp sesame oil

20ml chinese hua diao wine

Way To Go:
1) Saute ginger slices and shallots in olive oil till fragrant. Then add in dried cuttlefish and shredded dried scallops. Fry for 1min.

2) Add in chicken parts and fry till a little cooked.
3) Pour in seasonings and mushroom water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for an hour or until meat is tender. Just before serving, pour in chinese wine and stir well. Serve immediately.

Since it's winter here right now, superly cold in both mornings and night, something spicy would do the trick and keep ourselves warm. Here's my fusion soup. Korean Fish Cakes In Tom Yam Broth. Yummy! I love the corianders taste and smell in soup like this. Bon Appetit! :)
